Aussie Curves: LBD

LBD.
Little Black Dress aka Lifesaver.
Throughout the years my personal style has changed a lot. Sometimes I look back at old photos and either cringe or laugh. There's rarely a photograph where I think "Dayum girl.....you had it right then."

I mean when do you ever truly get it right

At least there is the LBD. It's like your best friend; reliable and it always makes you feel good. It always has your back and it's fuss free. Throw it on with a few accessories and you can transform your look instantly. I have two that currently sit in my wardrobe and I wore my Forever 21 LBD to my cousin's graduation party. I picked it up in New York on my first ever trip in 2011.

Mum, Theresa, Dad and I with Sia on her graduation.

I helped organise my cousin's grad party so throughout the evening I was running around with family to ensure that everything was running smoothly. I had like an hour to get ready after setting up the hall so this LBD was a beautiful timesaver. I paired it with my leather belt and brown wedges for a subtle contrast.

Look at how beautiful my family look in their LBDs. Perfect for all shapes and sizes.

The ladies loved the boys show.

Also thought I'd add in a little LBD flashback.

School Holidays pt. 1

Hello my lovely ones,

How are you all? I had a quick scroll through my blog and realised all my posts have been Aussie Curves submissions. While I love participating in it I, I realised I haven't shared any of my fun times with you guys lately and really......that's not good enough because I'm all about fun times :)

So these school holidays I have been REEEEEALLLY busy catching up with friends and family. I'm not complaining because I love moving around...If you have some idea of NSW geography I will share my travels with you all.

I started off in Nowra, headed up to Sydney, Newcastle, Raymond Terrace, Williamstown, Cooranbong, Tuggerah, Sydney, Campbelltown, Mt. Druitt, Nowra, Sydney, Opera House, Penrith, Blacktown and back down to Nowra. PHEW! I'm tried just trying to remember it all.

So my friends I wanted to share some pictures with you all before they get stored in the "to-post" file and that is long enough already (I have some lovely photos from my trip to Samoa, family reunion photos from New Zealand in April, a cousin's grad party, and another cousins 21st in Qld to share).

Congratulations to my beautiful cousin Hermione. She has officially become and Educator <3

graduation class of 2011

I just wanted to share a few pictures of two separate graduations this year. The first was my sister's graduation and she graduated with a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) and my cousin Sia who graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing. I was so proud to see them in their cap and gown after all the hard work and hours of last minute cramming and referencing; but more than that, I am proud of what they have chose to become. Workers in our community who exist to help others.

They won't be chasing big salaries and luxurious promotions (some people were built for that, and they are fulfilled by the career climb), by my sisters will aim to educate and inspire those around them to grow and change for the better. Did I mention how proud of them I am?

Thank God I am done with study at the moment. The only thing I really miss is having so many friends around me all the time. College really was a never ending fountain of good times, late nights, binge eating, prank playing and  a clothes sharing bonanza. Oh how I miss all my college girls <3

Mad love for all Nurses, Doctors, Teachers, Humanitarians, Volunteers, Missionaries, Social Workers and people who seek change and a better future.
